Once a year, regardless of how much you've driven. The annual service is required to maintain the manufacturer's damp and product warranties and includes inspection of the chassis, brakes, LPG gas, electrics, water, and seals.
No. According to the EU Block Exemption Regulation, you may have your service performed at any qualified workshop as long as the work is carried out according to the manufacturer's protocol and documented. We always use the manufacturer's service protocols.
You will receive a quote for a complete, protocolled moisture measurement of all measuring points. For elevated readings, a written action proposal with a price estimate is included at no extra cost.
Below 15% is normal, 15–20% is elevated and should be monitored, above 20% indicates ongoing damp damage that should be rectified immediately. Threshold values vary slightly between manufacturers.
The check itself is not a legal requirement for private individuals, but most insurance companies and campsites require a valid LPG gas certificate – normally not older than two years.
Yes. We are a mobile caravan and motorhome workshop and travel to campsites and seasonal pitches throughout Western Sweden. You don't need to move your caravan – we perform damp/moisture inspections, leak tests, and LPG gas safety checks on site and provide protocols and LPG gas certificates immediately.
Absolutely, and it's the cheapest way. If you gather several caravans on the same day, you share the call-out fee and everyone receives their damp/moisture protocols and LPG gas certificates during the same visit. Contact us and we'll book a common day.
A digital damp/moisture protocol with values for all measurement points and an LPG gas certificate after a successful leak test. In case of remarks, a written proposal for action with a price estimate is included.
We show you where the fault is and rectify minor issues directly in the caravan – for example, a leaking connection, worn hose, or faulty regulator. For larger damp damages, we provide a quote and book an appointment at the workshop.
Normally 1–2 weeks. During peak season (April–June), the waiting time may be longer, while urgent faults and leaks are always prioritized.
Yes, we have a monitored drop-off area with a key drop box. Indicate your desired drop-off time in the booking, and we will prepare a spot.
You report the damage to your company and state us as the workshop – or we can file the claim for you. We submit an estimate, await approval, and then perform the work. You only pay the deductible.
Yes. In addition to new original parts, we have a large stock of tested used parts from dismantled caravans, which is often the only solution for models older than 15 years.
Absolutely. Send a quote request with the chassis number, and we will find the correct part and price, and are happy to install it at your location.
Yes, we work with all common caravan and motorhome brands on the Swedish market, from KABE and Adria to Carthago and Morelo.
Always. For troubleshooting, the troubleshooting time is charged, after which you receive a written quote that you approve before we proceed.
Most common causes are poor ventilation, dirty LPG gas burner, too low LPG gas pressure, faulty electric heating element, or a thermostat/control board error. An absorption refrigerator also needs to be reasonably level to cool. We measure the cooling effect on LPG gas, 230V, and 12V, which immediately shows us where the fault lies.
In that case, the cooling unit is usually fine. The fault lies in the LPG gas section: a sooty burner, faulty spark plug, defective thermocouple, or a clogged jet. This is a job we do on site and gladly combine with an LPG gas safety check and certificate.
No. Ammonia smell or yellow deposits behind the refrigerator mean the cooling unit has leaked, and it cannot be repaired. In that case, we replace the cooling unit or the entire refrigerator – we bring the correct model and install it for you.
Yes. We supply and install new refrigerators, both absorption refrigerators and compressor refrigerators, in the correct dimensions for your caravan or motorhome. The price can include new ventilation grilles, LPG gas connection, electrical hook-up, and functional testing.
Yes, we are a mobile workshop and perform both troubleshooting and refrigerator replacement at your home or at the campsite, so you don't have to transport your caravan to a workshop.
